Flash disk is a common media people use to transfer data from one device to another, Genuine flash disks should and would save your data without losing data in the process. But as demand for flash disks rise in the market.We have seen many counterfeits/fake flash disks been flocked in the market.
Thing is, these Fake flash disks look alike a lot like Genuine flash disks but it doesn't mean they generally function the same way.Counterfeits/fake flash disks loose data in the process when e.g copying a file from your PC to your flash disk.
I have seen these counterfeits more in Tanzania and people use them without knowing they are counterfeit/fake from China.But to tackle this issue of buying a counterfeit/fake Flash disk, do the testing of flash disk with the program before you buy.
So how would you detect/know if its a Genuine Flash disk or counterfeit/fake?
We are going to use a software called H2testw just follow the instructions:
1.Insert your USB flash disk in your PC
2. Format the flash disk and check its drive letter
3.Now install the Flash disk testing tool get it here
4.Run the tool and follow the on-screen instructions on how to test it, after testing it should show you if the Flash drive is a counterfeit or not.
